About this tour

Have you ever wished to witness whales in the wild? This tour was created just for you!
Hermanus is a must-visit in South Africa since it is famous for its whale viewing. It is really amazing to see whales occasionally pass just a few meters from the coast! Boats may take you out on the water so you can come up close and share a special moment with the wildlife of the Atlantic Ocean.

The trip will allow you to swerve along on the lovely coastline road over the Overberg Region before reaching Hermanus. The Harold Porter National Botanical Gardens and the Fernkloof Nature Reserve are two lovely parks in the area. Nothing compares to a stroll along one of their expansive expanses, which accentuates the South African flora and the numerous bird species.

Please be aware that this tour only operates from July to November due to the seasonal nature of whale sightings. However, you can reserve the route privately whenever it suits you throughout the year.
